Woodstock Fair Cornhole Tournament

Prizes:

1st place: $3000.00 for the team; free entry into 2025 championship as the top seed.

2nd place: $1000.00 for the team; free entry into the 2025 championship as the second seed.

3rd place: $500.00 for the team; free entry into 2025 championship as the third-seed.

4th place: Free entry into 2025 championship as the fourth seed.

 

 Championship by-laws:

-Teams will be seeded as completed entries are received including the $50 non-refundable cornhole championship fee per team ($25 per player). Make check or money order payable to the Woodstock Fair. Please print out entry form and send to Woodstock Fair, P.O. Box 1, South Woodstock, CT. 06267 (Please note the entry fee for the team is only for the cornhole tournament and does not include entry into the Woodstock Fair or parking.)

 

-The championship will be played on Monday, Sept. 2 beginning at 9 a.m. on the Jewett City Savings Bank Center Stage at the Woodstock Fair. It should conclude at approximately 5 p.m. Rain Date: Sunday, Sept. 9.

 

- The Woodstock Fair will provide the cornhole boards. The contestants need to bring their own cornhole bags. These bags must be cornhole regulation bags.

 

-The championship is a two-person team format and will have only one open division.

 

- The championship will be played using adult rules for all teams with the boards 27-feet apart.

 

- The championship, if 64 teams or less choose to compete, will be best two out of three games. If 128 teams register, there will be a one-game flash round to determine the field of 64.

 

- Those under the age of 16 must have the signature of a parent/guardian to play and the parent/guardian would be the recipient of the prize money.

Rules:

The Woodstock Fair cornhole championship will follow the standard rules of cornhole.

 

The Woodstock Fair would like to thank Jewett City Savings Bank for being the sponsor of not only the first cornhole tournament at the Fair but also the Center Stage area for the entirety of the Fair.

 

The Woodstock Fair would also like to thank the Pomfret Recreation Department for its help in making this event possible.
